Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nadi Parikshan (Pulse Diagnosis)?

Nadi Parikshan is a classical Ayurvedic diagnostic technique where the physician reads the pulse at three positions on the radial artery using three fingers, corresponding to Vata, Pitta and Kapha doshas. Dr. G.S. Jadon uses this to identify doshic imbalances, organ conditions, and your unique Prakriti — without any lab tests or invasive procedures.

What is Kshar Sutra and is it painful?

Kshar Sutra is a minimally invasive Ayurvedic para-surgical technique using a medicated thread coated with alkaline herbal preparations. It is used to treat Piles (Arsha), Fistula-in-Ano, and Anal Fissure. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, causes minimal pain, requires no hospitalisation, and has a very low relapse rate compared to conventional surgery.

What does Panchakarma treatment involve?

Panchakarma is a five-fold classical Ayurvedic detoxification program — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Raktamokshana. At Chyavanaayu, we customise procedures such as Kati Basti (spinal oil pooling), Patra Pinda Sveda (herbal bolus massage), Shirodhara, and Kizhi based on your Prakriti and condition. Duration typically ranges from 7 to 21 days.

Can Ayurveda treat PCOS / PCOD effectively?

Yes. Dr. Chini Jain specialises in managing PCOS/PCOD through a holistic approach — Uttara Basti, Yoni Dhavan, and personalised herbal formulations address the hormonal root cause. Most patients see improved cycle regularity within 2–3 months. This approach also supports natural conception in cases of infertility related to PCOS.

How many sessions are needed for back/spine problems?

For conditions like lumbar spondylosis, sciatica, or cervical spondylitis, patients typically see significant relief within 7–14 sessions of Kati/Greeva Basti combined with herbal oral medications. Chronic cases may require a longer course. Dr. Jadon will assess your condition and recommend a personalised treatment plan at your first consultation.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment by filling the Online Appointment form on this page — your details are sent directly via WhatsApp to our team, who will call you back within a few hours to confirm. You can also call or WhatsApp us directly at +91 9302056405. Walk-ins are welcome Mon–Sat, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Are the medicines prepared fresh for each patient?

Yes. Our herbal churnas, kwaths (decoctions), and medicated oils are prepared or sourced fresh based on each patient's individual Prakriti, Vikriti and disease condition. We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Your formulations may change as your condition improves during the course of treatment.

Do you conduct free health camps?

Yes. Chyavanaayu regularly organises free community health camps across Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh in partnership with community welfare organisations. These camps offer free Nadi Parikshan, basic consultations, and Ayurvedic health advice. Follow our clinic for updates on upcoming camps.
